Software development · Problem solving

I build software that solves real problems.

I'm Sid, an engineering student interested in full-stack systems, data-driven applications, and reliable software. I like understanding how things work—not just making the demo look good.

A little about me

Curiosity is where the work starts.

I'm pursuing a B.Tech in Information Technology and building projects that help me connect software fundamentals with real-world use cases. My work so far spans web applications, weather-data integrations, machine-learning experiments, and Android development.

I'm especially interested in the engineering behind a product: API contracts, data flow, failure handling, maintainability, and testing. I'm currently sharpening my core computer science fundamentals and learning to make projects more reproducible and production-minded.

Hands-on learning

Build, debug, document, and improve—not just follow a tutorial.

Engineering mindset

Prefer clear trade-offs, honest status, and reproducible results.

Selected work

Projects built by learning through doing.

A snapshot of my work across data, backend services, and mobile development. Each project includes its current scope—no inflated claims.

What I worked on

  • Integrated Open-Meteo and explored ECMWF / NOAA-GFS forecast data paths.
  • Built backend normalization and fallback patterns for weather-source responses.
  • Worked on scheduled alert syncing and separated normal current-weather requests from heavier NWP processing.

Scope note

Describe only the integrations and flows that are currently working in your repository. Treat any mocked voice or alert flows as prototypes.

Before publishing, add the real GitHub repository and live-demo links for each project. Remove any link that is not ready for public review.

Keep the skills list honest: remove anything you cannot explain or use independently. Add Docker, CI/CD, networking, and testing tools once you have hands-on evidence.
